How to Setup a NoveeWatch for a Managed Account · Michael Dupuie
This guide will show you how to setup a NoveeWatch for a managed account, with you as the admin. Admins have full control of the managed account.
Join Novee Now!
The first step of creating a Novee account when your loved one has a watch is to tap on Join Now after opening Novee.
Set Up Questions
These are the first two questions after you tap Join Now.
Will You be Wearing the Watch?
Since your loved one is wearing the watch, tap No.
Only tap Yes if you have your own NoveeWatch. If you do, check out How to Create a Novee Account When You and a Loved One Have a Watch or How to Create a Novee Account for Yourself With a Watch.
Are You Setting up Novee on Behalf of a Loved One?
Tap Yes, since your loved one is wearing the watch and you will be managing their account.
You would tap No if you are not setting up a loved ones NoveeWatch. If so, check out our tutorials: How to Create a Novee Account for Yourself With a Watch or How to Create a Novee Account for Yourself Without a Watch.
Admin Profile Set Up
These setup steps collect info about the person managing the account (likely you!).
Admin Email
Now, you’ll be prompted to enter the admin’s account email. If you’re planning to be the admin, it will be your email. This should be an email you have readily available and one you’re comfortable receiving emails from Novee on.
Once you enter your email, tap Submit. You should then be sent a code to the email you entered. After sixty seconds, and refreshing your email, check your spam folder. If you still don’t see a code, tap Resend. Then, check your email again.
When you receive the code, type it in, and tap Next.
Admin Account Creation
For this part, you’ll be asked to enter some personal information — including your first and last name, along with a valid phone number.
Ensure this is a number you are comfortable Novee contacting. Novee will not contact you for marketing purposes.
Admin Agreements Page
Please read and accept our agreements before continuing. A check will appear in the box verifying your agreement. Tapping Join Now will create your Novee admin account.
Managed Profile Set Up
This is the profile for the person wearing the watch. This could be a loved one or a friend who doesn’t have a phone or doesn’t want to use the app.
Creating Managed Account Profile
You’ll then be prompted to enter their personal information — first name, last name, and a valid phone number.
If they don’t have a mobile number, a home phone they’re comfortable inputting will work as well.

Please obtain consent from your loved one before reading and accepting our agreements on their behalf. If they agree, tap the box next to each policy. A check will appear in the box verifying your agreement. Tapping Create will create your Novee managed account.

These are the first two questions after you tap Join Now.
Pairing Your Loved Ones Watch
The first step of creating a Novee account when your loved one has a watch is to tap on Join Now after opening Novee.
Enter the Code Shown on the NoveeWatch
Follow the instructions on the watch, until you get a code displayed on the watch, enter that code in the Novee app.
Set Up Emergency Contacts
Emergency contacts are trusted individuals who can be reached on your loved ones’ behalf during urgent or unexpected situations.
Beginning Set Up
Please get consent from your loved one and the individual before setting someone as an emergency contact.
Choosing Emergency Contacts
Select the emergency contact number. The rank of the emergency contact determines who gets contacted first.
For the third contact, you can also select Emergency Services, so they’ll be contacted if the first two don’t respond.
Thresholds Set Up
This portion of the managed account set up is for thresholds. Thresholds allow you to get notified about different metrics that go out of the range you set.
Choosing Threshold Values
To set a threshold, tap the gray dot for the metric and drag it to your desired value.
Set Up Bubbles
Bubbles let you get notified if your loved one enters or leaves a specific area.
Creating Bubbles
If you don’t want to set them up now, tap Skip.

Invite Friends
You can invite other people to download Novee and follow your loved one. So they can view your loved one’s status.
To do this, tap Share and select the person you’d like to share with.
If you’d prefer not to share right now, you can always invite them later from inside Novee too
