How to Create a Bubble For a Friend / Loved One · Michael Dupuie
This guide shows you how to set up a bubble. A bubble allows you to get notified when your friend or loved one enters or leaves a certain area.
Tap on the Friend Card
In the Friends tab, tap on the friend you want to set up bubbles for.
Tap on the Location Card
When you tap on your friends card you will see different vitals, tap on the second card, that shows their map.
If it says Unable to Find, have that friend share their location. Have them check out How to Share Your Location.
Starting the Bubble Set Up
Once you tap on their location, you'll be directed to a map, then tap on the Bubbles icon in the bottom middle.
Creating the Bubble
Tap on Add Bubble to start the Bubble set up.
Step 1: Place Bubble
Place the bubble in the location you want to get notified about. You do this by navigating the on screen map, and zooming in your desired amount.
Step 2: Bubble Size
Now, you will set the radius of the bubble, if you tap on the white dot you can drag it along the slider to change its radius. Sliding it to the left decreases the bubble size and sliding it to the right increases it.
Step 3: Name the Bubble
Once you size the bubble you can name it by tapping on the box that says enter bubble name here.
Step 4: Pick a Color
To distinguish between different bubbles quickly you can change the bubble color, by sliding through the color choices and tapping on the one you like.
Step 5: Save Bubble
After you complete those steps hit Save Bubble to create the bubble. If you are done with the set up tap Done in the top right. However, if you want to edit any portion of the bubble, tap Back or create another bubble by tapping Add Bubble.
Navigate to Saved Bubbles
Now when you navigate to your friends' location card and tap the bubbles button, you will see the created bubble. To edit that bubble tap on it. Or tap Add Bubble to make another one.
Editing the Bubble
Now you can either edit or delete the bubble.
Tap the pencil next to the name to change the name of the bubble. To change the radius you can use the slider like when setting up the bubble. Change the color of the bubble by taping on the colored circle next to the name.
